Markus is the founder of Valculus and a very experienced strategy consultant with international track record. For more than 21 years, he has served leading clients in service industries, with a focus on aviation and transportation – for the first 15 years with major consulting firms, since 2010 under his own brand (www.franke-aviation.com). His focus lies on commercial functions such as pricing, CRM, distribution, network planning, revenue management, or marketing.

With Valculus, he now develops innovative solutions for the profiling of customers and the personalization of products - tailored analytical methods enabling digital business models, efficient interaction with customers, and increased revenues.

Markus holds Diploma in Aerospace Engineering (with distinction) and Economics from the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH), plus a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering (summa cum laude). He holds lectures on Strategic Network Management for Master students as a visiting lecturer at the private university in Bad Honnef (IUBH).

Mike ist a seasoned data scientist with profound knowledge in a multitude of advanced analytical methods. After an internship with Google, he has worked for the last six years with Citigroup, PwC, and now Valculus.

He holds two Master degrees in International Management and Computer Sciences from Vienna and Warsaw University. He is proficient in various programing languages such as Java, C++, Python, or R.

His functional focus lies on Machine learning, Data science, and Customer analytics.
